Computer programming and Coding Summer Workshops.

Our workshops start with the basic fundamentals of programming and students learn with interactive tutorials and exercises with engaging instruction by adult instructors. Students will be able to learn and try simple to complex programming concepts on their own in the workshop.

We introduce the concepts of computational thinking and let the students see the connection between their curriculum and coding.

Highlights of the Workshop

  • - Students are provided with starter/template code to try exercises on their own in the workshop.
  • - Python programming language is introduced along with interactive languages/tools such as PencilCode, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • - Each student is provided an online account to write, save and manage their programs.
  • - Programming kits and tools such as MaKey MaKey and Arduino will be used as learning tools.
  • - All the workshop material and exercises can be used during and after the workshop at student’s own pace.

No prior programming knowledge or experience is needed or required.

One full week

Workshops go one full week Monday – Friday from 8:30AM – 2:30PM. Hands-on computer coding time, individual and group projects.

Local and Convenient

Code Workshops are going to be in the Shrewsbury area serving all Boston Metrowest communities.

Low Student-Teacher Ratio

Workshop size is limited to not more than 16 students with at least one instructor or teacher aid for every 8 students.

Adult Instructors

Adult instructors teach children about programming fundamentals and how to code.

Summer 2015 Code Workshops are convenient for Boston metrowest communities.

We welcome all stduents from the Boston metrowest neighborhoods such as Shrewsbury, Grafton, Westborough, Boylston, Worcester, Southborough, Upton, Northborough.
